Important information for students
Registration is done through the registration link for the selected studies. The page for the course or module describes the curriculum or content of the studies, the registration or application period and the maximum number of students admitted.
As a rule, students are accepted for a course in the order of registration. If the studies require a separate admission, the admission criteria are listed in the description of the studies.
As a learning environment we are using eLearn.
The study fee and payment terms are listed in the registration page for each course or module.
According to the Tax Administration guideline on the value added tax of education services, issued on 26 November 2015, sales of continuing professional education services are subject to value added tax, with the exception of certain cases specified in the guideline. If the continuing professional education course is liable to VAT, the price listed for the course is inclusive of VAT. If the course is exempt from VAT, the price is listed without tax in accordance with the Value Added Tax Act sections 39 and 40 and the guideline issued by the Tax Administration on 26 November 2015.
Studies that are subject to a fee can be paid by invoice or online payment.
Cancellation terms vary between studies.
As a rule, registration must be cancelled no later than 14 days before the start date of the studies. If the registration is cancelled after this, the customer is charged 50% of the study fee. If the registration is not cancelled and/or the participant does not attend the studies, the customer is charged the full study fee (in free studies, an administrative fee of 100 euros is charged). Exceptions to this are cancellations for medical reasons for which the participant can present a medical certificate and individual cancellation terms in longer studies. Another person from the same company or organisation can take the place of a registered participant unless the course has a separate admissions procedure or entrance exam or giving up the spot is prevented for some other reason. No separate fee is charged for transferring participation to another person. The course organiser must be notified of the transfer in advance and at the start of the studies at the latest.
Check the course-specific cancellation terms on the course page or the registration or application form.
