Course Description
We are organizing a post-graduate flow cytometry course at the University of Eastern Finland, Kuopio on 7.-9.12.2022. To our delight, flow cytometry expert Derek Davies (The Francis Crick Institute, London, UK) has agreed to give talks at the course. The schedule consists of two seminar days 7.-8.12.2022, in which the main topic will be basics of flow cytometry and different flow cytometry applications. The seminar days are aimed at PhD students, post-doctoral researchers and senior researchers interested in learning about flow cytometry. The hands-on demos will be offered to selected PhD students on 9th of December.
Registration
This course is free of charge for university students and UEF faculty members, but registration is required as the number of participants is limited to 50 individuals for the seminar days. Registration fee for other participants (from companies) is 100 €. We will contact participants from companies separately for payment information. For the demo day, we will select a limited amount of interested PhD students based on the motivation letter that needs to be submitted during registration. Details related to the motivation letter are found in registration form. The course is aimed for PhD students, post-doctoral researchers and senior researchers/faculty members who are interested in the topic.
Credit points for PhD students:
- 1 credit point for attendance in both seminar days
- 1.5 credit points for attendance in both seminar days and demo
