DPMM Doctoral Researcher Seminar Series

DPMM Doctoral Researcher Seminar Series is a collaborative initiative between PhD students from the A.I. Virtanen Institute and the Institute of Biomedicine, to provide a platform for all DPMM students to present their research to a larger audience and also to collaborate. 

Each day there will be a presentation from one PhD student from AIVI and one from Biomedicine. Also, following each seminar, we are considering organizing social get-togethers where participants can continue discussions in a more informal setting. Seminars are open to everyone interested.

We hope you will join us for these engaging seminars! The presenters and titles of the first seminar are: 

Valtteri Nurminen: "Mapping the Cellular Composition of Vascular Tissues Affected by Cardiovascular Disease Using Spatial Transcriptomics". 
Heli Jeskanen: "Mechanistic elucidation of Alzheimer′s disease-associated genetic variants".
