As a joint library of the University of Eastern Finland and the Welfare Region of Northern Savo, the KUH Medical Library supports health science research in UEF and KUH and health science education in UEF, and acts as a professional library for personnel working in Kuopio University Hospital.
UEF manages the KUH Medical Library as part of the university library. The terms of use, the collection database and the service fees are the same. As library customers, the KUH staff are equal to UEF personnel. As part of the UEF library, the KUH Medical Library is also a public library.
After receiving a library card, you may request a separate KUH remote access ID from the KUH Medical Library if needed. If you have also UEF username, you do not need KUH remote access ID.
