A student exchange in Kuopio changed the course of Noël Barengo’s career. What was meant to be a temporary visit turned into three university degrees and a passion for public health.

Godswill was accepted into all four universities to which he applied – and he chose the University of Eastern Finland. The deciding factor was the possibility to study for a Master’s Degree in Medical Physics on a full scholarship. As “a people person”, Godswill has enjoyed his time in Kuopio as part of a diverse student body consisting of people from all over the world. He graduated in June 2021
Maiju Karjalainen graduated from UEF's and Toyohashi University of Technology’s (TUT) joint Master’s degree programme last autumn. The double degree included studies and an opportunity to do an internship in Japan.
