Seven higher education institutions composing the EBU (European Bioeconomy University) alliance, pooled their strengths to offer the best possible training in bioeconomy entrepreneurship.
The vision of FOEBE+ is to encompass all dimensions of the bioeconomy from a European common approach, by creating training programmes adapted to the needs of bioeconomy and developing its full potential. To do so, FOEBE+ fosters innovative pedagogical practices to equip bioeconomy professionals and students with sustainable entrepreneurial skills.
The FOEBE+ programme is composed of 8 modules:
- Introduction of the bioeconomy
- Accelerated entrepreneurship
- Design thinking, creativity and innovative products
- Knowledge management
- Business management and finance
- Leadership and execution
- Marketing
- Digitalization and the bioeconomy
Modules start on January 9, 2025 with weekly remote learning and online class sessions, followed by a bioeconomy challenge organised in person at each university. The workload represents about 3 hours per week, over 16 weeks. The in-person study week will be organised on Joensuu campus April 22 - 26 and it is funded by the Erasmus+ agency.
FOEBE+ combines e-learning and face-to-face sessions, with an emphasis on innovative pedagogical practices. The selected students will study 3 hours a week per module, for a total of 16 weeks of e-learning.
In addition to ECTS, you will receive on Open Badge.
The FOEBE+ project, funded by the Erasmus+ program is the sequel to the successful FOEBE Erasmus+ strategic partnership.
FOEBE+ aims to offer a tailor-made study pathway to train a wider audience of bioeconomy entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs and guide them along their entrepreneurial journey. The goal is to provide experts and students of bioeconomy with sustainable entrepreneurial skills to speed up the European expansion of the bioeconomy sector.
Bioeconomy experts, jobseekers, all lifelong learners. We can include 5 lifelong learners to the programme. In addition to them, 15 degree students will be admitted and enrol through different channels.
The training is funded by the Erasmus+ program and it is free of charge.
