Student can

  • Understand and analyze sustainability reports
  • Understand the role of sustainability in management accounting and control
  • Understand and evaluate sustainable investments and the role of sustainability in the financial markets. This course develops the following generic skills: sustainability and internationalization.

 

The course covers the fundamental understanding of sustainability in accounting and finance. Topics covered include sustainability frameworks and measures, sustainability reporting, sustainability in management accounting as well as sustainability in finance.

Prerequisites Basics of accounting and Finance

This is an intermediate studies level course.The course belongs to the Intermediate studies, Accounting and Finance.

Student can

  • Identify sustainability frameworks
  • Understand and analyze sustainability reports
  • Understand the role of sustainability in management accounting and control
  • Understand and evaluate sustainable investments and the role of sustainability in the financial markets. This course develops the following generic skills: sustainability and internationalization.

Individual study units cost 20 e / credit and the study module costs 15 e / credit. These prices hold for the academic year 2024–2025. The study fee is paid at registration. 

By paying the study fee, the student receives a temporary right to study that entitles them to attend a particular course. The right to study is course-specific, and is required to complete the course as specified in the syllabus for the term, covering both teaching and course exams. If the course is continuously open for registration, the maximum time to complete the course is from 1 August to 31 July for that academic year.

If you have not studied at UEF before, you will also receive instructions for activating a UEF username. If you already have a UEF username, change the password to your account.
