Assessment strategies and measures of learning.
Learning outcomes:
After the course a successful student is able to
- know and apply the assessment methods for individual development (e.g social competence, cognitive skills)
- relate this knowledge to learning and teaching processes
- apply research based information and measures to early years education when developing children’s well being
- utilise multi-professional collaboration when supporting children’s well being.
Target group:
This course is suitable for international students. Students need to have some basic studies in educational sciences or educational psychology before registering for this course.
Study methods:
Open university students: Individual literature 25 hours, e-learning environment assignments 68 hours (individual essays, discussion assignments and other individual assignments), observations 10 h, independent research work 70 hours.
