Fundamental concepts of epidemiology.
Learning outcomes
To understand and exercise epidemiologic thinking, to master key concepts of epidemiology and critical appraisal of health research.
Generic skills: ethics, internationality, critical thinking, identification and development of expertise, interaction and communication
Study and implementation methods
Lectures, independent study, final written examination.
For degree and exchange students it is strongly encouraged to take the course on site, attending the classroom lectures. For distance learners (students of the open university) there is an alternative to cover the course via instructed self-study and tasks.
