Learning outcomes:
The student can give a brief description of themselves and ask and provide information in Finnish. The student understands simple spoken and written messages and can produce them themselves. The student can have brief conversations in Finnish about familiar topics and describe current and future events. The student knows the most important features of Finnish and knows something about the Finnish way of life. The student knows basic vocabulary and structures.
The objective is to attain the level A1.2 of the Common European Framework of Reference.
Before registering for this course, the student must have completed the course Finnish 1A or have corresponding knowledge and skills.
Study methods: Active participation in online lectures/teaching, independent online study and finishing assignments. Written final exam.
The successful completion of the course and participating in an exam requires active participation in teaching and the completion of course assignments within the specified schedule. The course is considered interrupted if the student has not returned the assignments within the specified schedule.
Schedules: This course will be organized from November 5 to December 12. Online teaching on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 14-16. Active participation to the lectures is needed to successfully complete the course.

Please note that this course requires some previous studies in Finnish language (the course Finnish 1A or similar course). Before registering, you can take a course placement test to evaluate if this course is suitable for you.
