The course includes the basic requirements for medicines described in Part I of the European GMP guide. In addition to understanding the basic requirements of medicines, the aim of the course is to encourage reflection on how everyone can influence the quality of medicines and patient safety in their own work in the field of health and well-being. The training consists of 11 sections. Studying takes place with the help of videos and Test Your Knowledge tasks.

You can complete the online course independently in the DigiCampus learning environment. The online course will be available in the piloting phase until 31.3.2025.

The training is part of the free training offered by the ESF project Boosting Regulation and Sustainability Competence for Health and Wellness Sector (ReguVa).

The aim of the training is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the basics of GMP. The theory gained in the training serves as support for the practical work orientation provided in the GMP environment.

After the training, you will be able to: 

  • explains what is meant by GMP
  • describe the basic principles of GMP
  • act in a way that promotes the quality of medicines and patient safety, and
  • make choices that promote drug quality and patient safety in your daily work in a GMP environment

Everyone interested in GMP for pharmaceuticals, especially those who work, study and apply for a job in the health and well-being sector.

Free training for the duration of the project until 31.3.2025. The project is co-financed by the EU.

It takes about 6 hours to complete the training. The training provides a digital Open Badge.
