The doctoral dissertation of Kalle Karjalainen, MSc, entitled Imaging, biology and biomechanics of rat knee joint cartilage in post-traumatic and metabolic subtypes of osteoarthritis be examined at the Faculty of Science, Forestry and Technology, Kuopio Campus and online. The opponent will be Professor Robert L. Sah, University of California San Diego, and the custos will be Assistant professor Eng Kuan Moo, Carleton University. Language of the public defence is English.
