The doctoral dissertation of M.Soc.Sc. Chloe Wells, entitled Vyborg is Y/ours’: Meanings and memories of a borderland city amongst young people in Finland, will be examined at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Business Studies. The opponent in the public examination will be Professor Anna-Kaisa Kuusisto of the University of Tampere, and the custos will be Adjunt Professor Paul Fryer of the University of Eastern Finland.
Due to Coronavirus restrictions, anyone who wishes to attend the live defence must pre-register by sending an e-mail to paul.fryer@uef.fi, after which the location of the proceedings will be provided. All attendees are asked to wear a face mask.
