Modes of study: The course takes place in the DigiCampus MOOC environment by studying an online course Circular.now and after the online course writing an approximately two-page essay on "What did I learn about the circular economy?".

Teacher: Jukka Sihvonen

The course can be studied independently between Sep 9th, 2024 and May 14th, 2025. You can submit the certificate from the online course and the essay at any time, but the teacher will only evaluate the submitted work twice during the academic year. The work submitted during the autumn semester will be evaluated after 14.12.2024 and the work submitted during the spring semester after 14.5.2025. Make sure to submit your work by these dates.

Tavoitteet:

Opiskelija ymmärtää:

  • luonnon moninaisuuden ja talouden yhteyden
  • miten kiertotalous tuo luonnon osaksi talouden toimintaa
  • miten innovaatiot voivat tukea yrityksen kestävää taloutta
  • yritysten ympäristövastuu ja miten viestiä vastuullisesti
  • antroposeenin käsite ja sen merkitys maapallolle
  • erilaisia mittareita, joilla voidaan arvioida luonnon ja talouden välistä suhdetta
  • mitä luonnon hyvinvoinnista huolehtiminen on tarkoittanut metsätaloudessa ja mitä se voisi tarkoittaa

Opintojakso kehittää seuraavia geneerisiä taitoja: vastuullisuus, kestävyys, etiikka, johtaminen ja kehittäminen, kriittinen ajattelu.

Learning outcomes: The course provides basic information on job seeking. After completing the course, students will have knowledge and means to develop their employment capacities and skills. They will also be able to draw up concrete job search plans. They will be able to look and apply for jobs intentionally by using various job seeking methods. Implementing the course online will help train the students’ digital and online collaboration skills, independent work approach and time management.
