Policy briefs, statements and reports based on the latest research data are produced for customers for the needs of national, regional and local development.
Spatia is a unit specialising in applied research, evaluation and regional development at the University of Eastern Finland. We conduct research and studies and provide expert services for the needs of national, regional and local development work. We also participate in development projects. The studies and reports are carried out with the help of the university’s multidisciplinary network of experts. Our customers include development organisations, companies, municipalities, cities and central government. We are also involved in international research programmes.
