The University of Eastern Finland’s doctoral conferment ceremony at the Kuopio Campus is postponed to 9–11 June 2022 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

MSc Maya Deepak's results imply that within-tree variation should be taken into account in studies on tree spectral reflectance and designing representative leaf sampling for research.

The primary objective of this thesis was to evaluate the potential application of a novel heat exchanger system to fine particle reduction in small-scale wood combustion appliances.
