Admissions to international Master’s degree programmes in business at UEF now open

The Business School at the University of Eastern Finland is organising a supplementary admissions for five international Master's degree programmes. The application period opens on 1 October, 2024, at 8:00 and closes on 15 October, 2024, at 15.00 GMT/UTC +3.

There are a total of 73 study places available across different fields of business. The results will be published by 19 November at the latest, and the studies will start in January 2025. 

The international Master’s degree programmes in the UEF Business School cover a wide range of fields in business, such as accounting, digital marketing, international business, sustainability leadership, and tourism marketing and management. The programmes also involve close cooperation with companies with an emphasis on continuously developing digital technologies, thus preparing students for future business challenges and success in international markets. Currently, there are approximately 1,400 students studying business at the University of Eastern Finland, with international business programmes hosting 171 of them. 

The following English-taught Master’s degree programmes in business studies are inviting applications in the 2024 supplementary admissions: 

Programme and available study places: 

  • Accounting and Finance, Kuopio, 6 study places 
  • Digital Marketing and Analytics, Joensuu/Kuopio, 12 / 12 study places 
  • International Business and Sales Management, Kuopio, 20 study places 
  • Sustainability Leadership, Kuopio, 6 study places 
  • Tourism Marketing and Management, Joensuu,17 study places 

Both Finnish and international applicants with a suitable Bachelor’s degree can apply for admission to the Master’s programmes. Applications are to be submitted online, via the national Studyinfo.fi portal. 

The studies are free of charge for Finnish citizens as well as for citizens of the EU and EEA countries, and Switzerland. Citizens of other countries are required to pay an annual tuition fee of 10,000 euros. 

Currently, there are about 16,000 students in total studying at the University of Eastern Finland. Each year, approximately 2,000 international exchange and degree students from about 100 different countries study at the university.
